A Divine Offering for Vanars on Mohini Ekadashi

Mohini Ekadashi is a sacred day dedicated to Lord Vishnu, celebrated with devotion, fasting, prayer, and acts of kindness. On this auspicious occasion, Joyful Foundation is bringing forward a compassionate campaign for Vanar Seva—feeding, caring for, and supporting hungry, injured, and helpless monkeys who struggle silently for food, water, safety, and treatment.

Vanars hold a special place in Indian spiritual tradition and are deeply connected with the devotion and strength of Lord Hanuman. Yet, many monkeys today live in difficult conditions near temples, roadsides, forest areas, and urban surroundings. Some are hungry, some are weak due to extreme heat, and some suffer from wounds, infections, or injuries without timely care. This campaign is a humble effort to serve these voiceless beings with love and compassion.

Why Mohini Ekadashi Is Special for Seva

Mohini Ekadashi is believed to help devotees move away from attachment, suffering, and negative actions through prayer, purity, and good deeds. Charity performed on this sacred day is considered highly meaningful because it reflects compassion, selflessness, and devotion. Feeding the hungry and helping helpless beings is one of the purest ways to honor the spirit of this Ekadashi.

Through this Vanar Seva campaign, Joyful Foundation invites every kind-hearted person to turn devotion into action. When a hungry vanar receives food, when a thirsty monkey receives water, and when an injured animal receives treatment, it becomes more than charity—it becomes a divine offering filled with kindness and humanity.

What This Campaign Will Support

The campaign will support the feeding and care of monkeys by providing fruits, bananas, grains, clean water, and other suitable nourishment. Along with food support, donations will also help in extending basic medical assistance to injured or sick vanars whenever possible. Many monkeys suffer because of accidents, wounds, infections, dehydration, and lack of proper care.

Your contribution can help arrange food supplies, water, rescue support, medicines, wound care, and treatment assistance for monkeys in need. Even a small donation can make a visible difference in the life of a hungry or injured vanar. A simple meal can give strength, and timely care can reduce pain and suffering.

Your Kindness Can Become Their Relief

Many vanars cannot ask for help, but their hunger, fear, and pain are real. They search for food under the burning sun, depend on scattered leftovers, and often suffer unnoticed. This Mohini Ekadashi, your act of giving can bring comfort to those who are weak, hungry, injured, or helpless.

Joyful Foundation believes that true devotion is reflected through compassion for all living beings. When we serve animals, we serve life itself. Your support can become a source of food, healing, and hope for vanars who need immediate care and protection.

Join Joyful Foundation in This Sacred Seva

On this holy Mohini Ekadashi, come forward to make a divine offering for hungry and helpless vanars. Let your donation become food for the hungry, water for the thirsty, and care for the injured. Every contribution, whether big or small, carries the power to reduce suffering and spread compassion.

Support A Divine Offering for Vanars on Mohini Ekadashi and be a part of Joyful Foundation’s mission to protect, feed, and care for voiceless beings. This sacred day, let your devotion shine through kindness, and let your seva become a blessing for those who need it most.

Frequently Asked Questions

Joyful Donation, conducted by Satvikdaan Charitable Trust Foundation, was founded in 2023 after a heartbreaking loss—a close friend who couldn’t afford cancer treatment. That personal tragedy became our purpose. A group of social workers with 7+ years of ground-level seva united to ensure no one is lost to neglect, hunger, or helplessness. What began with small acts has grown into a movement of compassion.

We work where the need is—slums, schools, and vulnerable neighbourhoods. Support ranges from food packets and ration kits to school supplies and vocational tools. We start with whatever we have, mobilise caring people, and deliver practical help that restores dignity and hope.

Every donation is personal to us. Funds are directed to real, time-bound needs—nutrition, basic medical help, education materials, and livelihood support like vocational tools. We aim to share simple impact updates and stories so you can see how your kindness becomes relief on the ground.

You can donate to an active campaign, volunteer your time/skills, sponsor kits (meals, education, hygiene), or start a peer-to-peer fundraiser. If you’d like to collaborate as an individual, group, or organisation, just reach out—this is a people-powered effort.

A receipt is issued for every donation. If a campaign is eligible for tax benefits, it will be clearly mentioned on the campaign page and in the receipt details. For any documentation you need, please contact us and we’ll assist you.
