Saturday Annadaan Seva for Elderly Widowed Mothers

Saturday Meals of Hope for Abandoned Elderly Mothers
Every Saturday carries a spiritual message of service, humility, and compassion. It is a day when many people remember the value of helping those who are weak, forgotten, and in need of support. Among the most deserving souls are elderly widowed mothers who have spent their lives caring for families, but today many of them are left alone, hungry, and helpless.
Joyful Global Foundation is bringing forward this heartfelt campaign, Old Widow Annadaan Seva on Saturday, to serve warm and respectful meals to elderly widowed mothers who struggle for even one proper meal in a day. For them, food is not just a plate of rice, roti, or dal. It is a feeling of care. It is a reminder that society has not forgotten them.
A Meal That Brings Comfort to a Lonely Heart
Many old widowed women live with deep emotional pain. Some have no family support, some are unable to work because of age and illness, and some depend completely on the kindness of others. Their eyes carry years of struggle, but even a simple meal served with love can bring peace to their hearts.
Through this Annadaan Seva, Joyful Global Foundation aims to provide nutritious food to such elderly mothers and give them a moment of dignity. When a hungry mother receives food, her blessings come from the deepest corner of her heart. Your contribution can become the reason behind her smile, her relief, and her strength for the day.
Why Saturday Annadaan Holds a Special Meaning
Saturday is often seen as a day to perform good deeds, help the needy, and reduce suffering through selfless service. Feeding elderly widowed mothers on this day is a noble act that reflects kindness, humanity, and devotion. Annadaan is considered one of the purest forms of charity because it directly removes hunger and gives life-sustaining support.
When we offer food to those who cannot arrange it for themselves, we are not only filling an empty stomach; we are also offering respect, hope, and emotional comfort. For old widowed mothers, this seva becomes a blessing during a time when they need society’s care the most.
Joyful Global Foundation’s Compassionate Effort
Joyful Global Foundation believes that no elderly mother should sleep hungry or feel abandoned. This campaign is a humble effort to reach those old widowed women who are silently facing hunger, loneliness, and hardship. With the support of kind-hearted donors, the foundation works to arrange meals and serve them with love and respect.
Each donation helps in preparing and distributing food to needy elderly mothers. A small contribution from you can support a plate of food, and that one plate can bring comfort to someone who has been waiting for care. Your support can turn a painful Saturday into a day of relief and blessings.
Your Donation Can Become Her Blessing
Imagine an elderly widow sitting quietly, waiting for someone to help her with food. She may not ask loudly, but her hunger speaks. She may not have the strength to explain her pain, but her eyes reveal everything. Your donation can reach such mothers and provide them with a meal filled with care.
This Saturday, come forward and be a part of Old Widow Annadaan Seva by Joyful Global Foundation. Serve food to elderly mothers who need your support. Let your kindness become their strength. Let your donation become their hope.

Frequently Asked Questions
Joyful Donation, conducted by Satvikdaan Charitable Trust Foundation, was founded in 2023 after a heartbreaking loss—a close friend who couldn’t afford cancer treatment. That personal tragedy became our purpose. A group of social workers with 7+ years of ground-level seva united to ensure no one is lost to neglect, hunger, or helplessness. What began with small acts has grown into a movement of compassion.
We work where the need is—slums, schools, and vulnerable neighbourhoods. Support ranges from food packets and ration kits to school supplies and vocational tools. We start with whatever we have, mobilise caring people, and deliver practical help that restores dignity and hope.
Every donation is personal to us. Funds are directed to real, time-bound needs—nutrition, basic medical help, education materials, and livelihood support like vocational tools. We aim to share simple impact updates and stories so you can see how your kindness becomes relief on the ground.
You can donate to an active campaign, volunteer your time/skills, sponsor kits (meals, education, hygiene), or start a peer-to-peer fundraiser. If you’d like to collaborate as an individual, group, or organisation, just reach out—this is a people-powered effort.
A receipt is issued for every donation. If a campaign is eligible for tax benefits, it will be clearly mentioned on the campaign page and in the receipt details. For any documentation you need, please contact us and we’ll assist you.
