Full Moon Blessings: Purnima Annadaan Seva for Elderly Widows

Purnima is considered a sacred day of light, peace, devotion, and giving. On this holy full moon day, Joyful Global Foundation brings forward a heartfelt campaign, Purnima Annadaan Seva for Elderly Widows and Needy Women, to serve warm meals with dignity, love, and compassion. This campaign is dedicated to those elderly widow mothers and helpless women who often live with loneliness, hunger, and emotional pain, yet continue to carry silent strength in their hearts.

A Meal That Carries Love and Respect

For many of us, food is a daily comfort. But for many old widow mothers, even one proper meal can become a matter of hope. Some of them have been left alone by circumstances, some have no family support, and some struggle every day to arrange basic food. Their eyes may not always ask for help, but their silence speaks of a life filled with hardship. Through this Annadaan Seva, Joyful Global Foundation aims to offer not just food, but also care, respect, and a feeling that they are not forgotten.

Why Annadaan on Purnima Is Special

In Indian tradition, Annadaan is known as one of the greatest forms of charity. It is believed that feeding the hungry brings peace to the soul and blessings to the giver. Purnima, being a day of spiritual brightness, makes this act even more meaningful. When you donate food on this day, your contribution becomes a source of relief for elderly women who need support, kindness, and nourishment. A simple plate of food can bring a smile to a tired face and warmth to a heart that has faced years of struggle.

Serving Elderly Mothers With Dignity

Joyful Global Foundation believes that every elderly woman deserves love, care, and respect. Many widow mothers spend their days without proper nutrition, emotional support, or someone to listen to them. This campaign focuses on serving them fresh and wholesome meals in a respectful manner. The purpose is not only to fill empty stomachs but also to remind them that society still cares for them. Every meal served becomes a message of humanity, compassion, and togetherness.

Your Small Contribution Can Create a Big Difference

A small donation from your side can help provide food to old widow mothers and needy ladies who are struggling for basic meals. Your support can help arrange freshly prepared food, drinking water, essential nutrition, and distribution support for this noble seva. What may seem like a small amount to you can become a full meal, a moment of comfort, and a blessing for someone in need.

Be a Part of This Sacred Seva

This Purnima, let your kindness become someone’s strength. Let your donation reach those elderly mothers who have given so much to life but now need our support. By joining Joyful Global Foundation’s Purnima Annadaan Seva, you become a part of a mission that spreads food, hope, and humanity.

Donate today and help serve meals to elderly widow mothers and needy women. Your one act of kindness can bring peace, blessings, and a smile to someone’s life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Joyful Donation, conducted by Satvikdaan Charitable Trust Foundation, was founded in 2023 after a heartbreaking loss—a close friend who couldn’t afford cancer treatment. That personal tragedy became our purpose. A group of social workers with 7+ years of ground-level seva united to ensure no one is lost to neglect, hunger, or helplessness. What began with small acts has grown into a movement of compassion.

We work where the need is—slums, schools, and vulnerable neighbourhoods. Support ranges from food packets and ration kits to school supplies and vocational tools. We start with whatever we have, mobilise caring people, and deliver practical help that restores dignity and hope.

Every donation is personal to us. Funds are directed to real, time-bound needs—nutrition, basic medical help, education materials, and livelihood support like vocational tools. We aim to share simple impact updates and stories so you can see how your kindness becomes relief on the ground.

You can donate to an active campaign, volunteer your time/skills, sponsor kits (meals, education, hygiene), or start a peer-to-peer fundraiser. If you’d like to collaborate as an individual, group, or organisation, just reach out—this is a people-powered effort.

A receipt is issued for every donation. If a campaign is eligible for tax benefits, it will be clearly mentioned on the campaign page and in the receipt details. For any documentation you need, please contact us and we’ll assist you.
