A Sacred Meal of Dignity for Forgotten Mothers
This Nirjala Ekadashi, Joyful Global Foundation invites you to become a reason of comfort, hope, and nourishment for old widow mothers who are living with loneliness, hunger, and helplessness.
The Sacred Day of Nirjala Ekadashi
Nirjala Ekadashi is considered one of the most powerful and spiritually meaningful Ekadashi observances. On this holy day, devotees remember Lord Vishnu, follow devotion, and perform acts of charity with a pure heart. It is believed that offering food, water, and support to the needy on this day brings immense blessings and peace. But beyond the spiritual belief, this day also reminds us of our human responsibility—to stand beside those who have no one to care for them.
In many places, there are elderly widow mothers who spend their days in silence, pain, and uncertainty. Some have lost their families, some have been left behind, and some are too weak to earn even a single meal for themselves. For them, hunger is not just an empty stomach; it is a feeling of being forgotten by the world. A simple plate of food can become a blessing, a moment of relief, and a reminder that they still matter.
Annadaan Seva for Old Widow Mothers
Through this Annadaan Seva campaign, Joyful Global Foundation aims to provide nutritious meals to old widow ladies who are struggling for basic food and care. This campaign is not only about serving food; it is about serving respect, love, and dignity. Every meal offered with compassion can bring a gentle smile to a tired face and warmth to a lonely heart.
These mothers have lived a life full of struggles. Many of them have spent years caring for their families, raising children, and giving love without expecting anything in return. Today, when they need support the most, your small contribution can become their strength. Your donation can help provide freshly prepared meals, drinking water, basic nourishment, and emotional relief to elderly widow mothers on the sacred occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi.
Why Your Support Matters
For many of us, food is a daily routine, but for an old widow mother living in poverty, one complete meal can feel like a gift from God. Your donation may seem small to you, but for someone waiting with hope, it can become a day free from hunger. It can give her strength to live another day with courage. It can make her feel seen, respected, and cared for.
Annadaan is known as one of the greatest forms of donation because it directly removes hunger and brings instant relief. When you feed an elderly mother, you are not only offering food; you are offering kindness, humanity, and blessings. On Nirjala Ekadashi, this act of seva becomes even more meaningful as it connects devotion with compassion.
Be the Reason Behind Their Smile
Joyful Global Foundation believes that no elderly mother should sleep hungry, especially on a sacred day when people come forward for prayer and charity. With your support, we can serve meals to old widow ladies who need love, food, and care. Your contribution can turn their pain into comfort and their silence into a grateful smile.
This Nirjala Ekadashi, let your devotion become service. Let your kindness reach those old widow mothers who are silently waiting for help. Donate for Annadaan Seva and become a part of a noble mission that feeds not just the body, but also the soul with dignity and compassion.

Frequently Asked Questions
Joyful Donation, conducted by Satvikdaan Charitable Trust Foundation, was founded in 2023 after a heartbreaking loss—a close friend who couldn’t afford cancer treatment. That personal tragedy became our purpose. A group of social workers with 7+ years of ground-level seva united to ensure no one is lost to neglect, hunger, or helplessness. What began with small acts has grown into a movement of compassion.
We work where the need is—slums, schools, and vulnerable neighbourhoods. Support ranges from food packets and ration kits to school supplies and vocational tools. We start with whatever we have, mobilise caring people, and deliver practical help that restores dignity and hope.
Every donation is personal to us. Funds are directed to real, time-bound needs—nutrition, basic medical help, education materials, and livelihood support like vocational tools. We aim to share simple impact updates and stories so you can see how your kindness becomes relief on the ground.
You can donate to an active campaign, volunteer your time/skills, sponsor kits (meals, education, hygiene), or start a peer-to-peer fundraiser. If you’d like to collaborate as an individual, group, or organisation, just reach out—this is a people-powered effort.
A receipt is issued for every donation. If a campaign is eligible for tax benefits, it will be clearly mentioned on the campaign page and in the receipt details. For any documentation you need, please contact us and we’ll assist you.
