Compassionate Care for Stray Cows

Feeding, Healing, and Honoring Our Mother Cow

Every day, cows wander through our streets—hungry, injured, and forgotten. Some search for scraps near garbage bins, while others limp from untreated wounds. But Gau Mata, the giver of nourishment and symbol of compassion, deserves dignity. Gau Seva Daan is a heartfelt movement to feed the hungry, treat the wounded, and care for abandoned cows in urban and rural areas.

A Bowl of Love, A Day of Survival

Hunger is the cruelest form of neglect. Many cows survive on plastic-laced waste or nothing at all. Through daily feeding drives, we offer nutritious meals—green fodder, soaked grains, and water—at regular street points. This isn’t charity; it’s our duty to a being that has nourished generations.

Accidents, infections, and untreated injuries leave many stray cows suffering silently. We provide on-call vet care, first-aid support, and regular health checkups. The goal isn’t just to heal wounds but to restore the peace in their eyes.

Reviving Seva in Urban Lives

In cities, we often lose touch with seva. Through volunteer days, school awareness drives, and community feeding programs, we reintroduce Gau Seva into everyday life. Whether you’re donating, helping us serve, or simply pausing to feed a cow—it counts.

Seva for the Silent Souls That Wander Among Us

Be part of a cause rooted in karuna (compassion) and sanskriti (culture). Your donation, whether ₹100 for fodder or ₹5,000 for treatment and shelter, makes a living difference. Let’s come together for the voiceless who have fed our history.

Gau Seva isn’t an act. It’s a feeling. A return. A promise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Joyful Donation, conducted by Satvikdaan Charitable Trust Foundation, was founded in 2023 after a heartbreaking loss—a close friend who couldn’t afford cancer treatment. That personal tragedy became our purpose. A group of social workers with 7+ years of ground-level seva united to ensure no one is lost to neglect, hunger, or helplessness. What began with small acts has grown into a movement of compassion.

We work where the need is—slums, schools, and vulnerable neighbourhoods. Support ranges from food packets and ration kits to school supplies and vocational tools. We start with whatever we have, mobilise caring people, and deliver practical help that restores dignity and hope.

Every donation is personal to us. Funds are directed to real, time-bound needs—nutrition, basic medical help, education materials, and livelihood support like vocational tools. We aim to share simple impact updates and stories so you can see how your kindness becomes relief on the ground.

You can donate to an active campaign, volunteer your time/skills, sponsor kits (meals, education, hygiene), or start a peer-to-peer fundraiser. If you’d like to collaborate as an individual, group, or organisation, just reach out—this is a people-powered effort.

A receipt is issued for every donation. If a campaign is eligible for tax benefits, it will be clearly mentioned on the campaign page and in the receipt details. For any documentation you need, please contact us and we’ll assist you.
