Sacred Shelter of Compassion: Varuthini Ekadashi Gau Seva Campaign
By Joyful Global Foundation | A sacred initiative for cow care, healing, nourishment, and protection on the blessed occasion of Varuthini Ekadashi
A Holy Day to Protect the Gentle and Helpless
Varuthini Ekadashi is regarded as one of the most spiritually rewarding days in the Hindu calendar. It is a day associated with protection, inner purification, and acts of compassion that create lasting merit. On such a sacred occasion, extending care to abandoned and suffering cows becomes not only an act of kindness, but also a meaningful expression of dharma. Through this campaign, Joyful Global Foundation invites compassionate hearts to come forward and support Gau Seva and treatment for cows who are injured, weak, hungry, neglected, or left without shelter.
Across roadsides, open fields, and city corners, countless cows silently endure pain every day. Some carry untreated wounds. Some struggle with infections, weakness, or malnutrition. Many roam in search of food and water, while others are left uncared for after injury or illness. Their suffering often remains unseen, even though they continue to symbolize gentleness, patience, and sacredness in our culture. This Varuthini Ekadashi, we have an opportunity to transform devotion into action by supporting their healing and well-being.
Why This Campaign Matters
Joyful Global Foundation is dedicated to serving vulnerable cows with compassion and responsibility. This campaign is focused on providing timely medical treatment, proper nourishment, and safe care for cows who cannot speak for themselves. Many of these animals require immediate support—clean fodder, medicines, first aid, regular checkups, and a secure environment where they can recover with dignity. What may seem like a simple contribution can become life-saving care for a cow in pain.
On Varuthini Ekadashi, acts of charity are believed to bring spiritual blessings and protection. Supporting Gau Seva on this day carries deep emotional and religious meaning. When we help a suffering cow receive treatment, food, and shelter, we do more than relieve physical pain—we uphold compassion as a living value. In a world where helpless beings are often ignored, choosing to care is a sacred step.
How Your Support Will Help
Contributions to this campaign will help support:
- Medical treatment for injured and sick cows
- Medicines, wound care, and recovery support
- Nutritious fodder and clean drinking water
- Protective shelter and regular care for abandoned cows
- Immediate assistance for cows found in distress
Every offering matters. Whether big or small, your donation becomes part of a shared mission of mercy. A single act of giving can help feed a hungry cow, treat an injury, or provide comfort to an animal that has known only hardship. This is the spirit of Varuthini Ekadashi—to extend protection where it is needed most.
A Prayer in Action
Devotion is most powerful when it takes the form of service. Fasting, prayer, and worship hold great value, but compassion expressed through action carries its own sacred strength. When you support this campaign, you participate in a prayer made visible—one that reaches a wounded body, a hungry stomach, and a helpless life waiting for relief. Joyful Global Foundation believes that true celebration of this holy day lies in protecting life with kindness and sincerity.

Frequently Asked Questions
Joyful Donation, conducted by Satvikdaan Charitable Trust Foundation, was founded in 2023 after a heartbreaking loss—a close friend who couldn’t afford cancer treatment. That personal tragedy became our purpose. A group of social workers with 7+ years of ground-level seva united to ensure no one is lost to neglect, hunger, or helplessness. What began with small acts has grown into a movement of compassion.
We work where the need is—slums, schools, and vulnerable neighbourhoods. Support ranges from food packets and ration kits to school supplies and vocational tools. We start with whatever we have, mobilise caring people, and deliver practical help that restores dignity and hope.
Every donation is personal to us. Funds are directed to real, time-bound needs—nutrition, basic medical help, education materials, and livelihood support like vocational tools. We aim to share simple impact updates and stories so you can see how your kindness becomes relief on the ground.
You can donate to an active campaign, volunteer your time/skills, sponsor kits (meals, education, hygiene), or start a peer-to-peer fundraiser. If you’d like to collaborate as an individual, group, or organisation, just reach out—this is a people-powered effort.
A receipt is issued for every donation. If a campaign is eligible for tax benefits, it will be clearly mentioned on the campaign page and in the receipt details. For any documentation you need, please contact us and we’ll assist you.
